Anthony has been restoring this 1945 Farmall Tractor over the last eight months and plans to use it to help raise money for charity. Anthony and his friends began taking charitable “Tractor Drives” about 10 years ago after Anthony lost his father-in-law and a neighbor to cancer. The group, which generally includes about 75 tractors, hosts four Tractor Drives each year and they cover 20-40 miles. Anthony installed a special “ooga” horn to let people know the group is passing by, and people line the road cheering and waving flags in support. Last summer, the money raised split between two charities, the Relay for Life and the Children’s Cancer Foundation. Anthony has more tractors that he plans to restore, and is already talking about insuring them with Hagerty.
I’ve been working at Hagerty for the last two years in the auto service department. When I am not at work I love to spend time on my boat, go for walks with my dogs, or just sit back and relax watching the Detroit Tigers play. My favorite car if I have to narrow it down to one would be a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro which I would love to own and cruise around Traverse City in.
