1929 Ford Model A Donnie from Kansas

Donnie's enduring fondness for classic cars grew out of the memories he shared with his father and grandfather. Donnie's father owned a 1929 Model A in the past, and ever since his passing three years ago, Donnie has been searching for the same version of the vehicle to purchase in his memory. He recently found one that fit the bill and quickly snapped it up. While Donnie was on the hunt for a Model A, it was important to him that he found one that was a 1929 since that is the year that his father was born. He says he doesn't mind that the vehicle is rough around the edges because the body is sound and he is saving it from the scrap yard. Even though Donnie will never be able to drive the Model A due to blindness (he was shot in the side of the head and still has 5 pellets in his brain), he knows that as he sits in the passenger seat with his wife driving, his father will be right there with him to enjoy the ride.
