George's father purchased a ’73 Lemans GTO for him two years before he was licensed. He absolutely loved the car, but sadly in 1982, it was stolen, and he was determined to find another one! His search finally ended with this car. The reason it took so long to find another is that only 492 Sport Coupes were made in '73.
George thought he had struck gold when he purchased another GTO in ’06, but he found that it needed so much work he’d never be able to afford to bring it back to driving condition. Down but determined, he finally found this one in great condition, and he hopes to join a club and go to car shows in it. His passion for the car is even reflected in his personal email address, which we can't share here, of course, but it's GTO all the way for George!
I was born and raised in Big Rapids Michigan. I got my degree from CMU, and lived in Grand Rapids for a year before finally settling in the near town from here of Williamsburg. I’m married and have 2 dogs, named after my favorite guitar players Jimi Hendrix and Tom Morello. My favorite rides are the ’71 Oldsmobile 4-4-2, red and black, or the VW 23 Window Bus, sky blue and white.
