The 1958 Porsche 356A holds a special place in the hearts of Peter and his wife Sherly Jean. Sherly has owned the Porsche for roughly 30 years, and for many of those years, she raced the Porsche. Over and over again, the repetitive races slowly began to wear the little speedster down. Eventually, that phase of her life came to a close, racing came to a stop, and the little speedster was put into storage, for potentially an indefinite length of time.
Frequent attenders of car shows, one day, Sherly and her husband went to a Porsche show to gaze at and admire the beautiful display of stunning, glittering vehicles. One of the Porsches caught her attention more than the others; something about it struck her as familiar but she could not put her finger on it. She walked over to take a closer look, bent over to inspect the engine that was proudly displayed under the shade of the open hood, and gasped when she realized that it was her beloved speedster. Peter had secretly taken the little speedster and had it undergo a full restoration, bringing it back to its original Concours level condition. Taking it one step farther, he brought the sparkling, newly restored Porsche to the Porsche show to display it for her.
The little 1958 Porsche 356A is once again their pride and joy, and they repeatedly bring it to shows to show it off to the world.
